This seems like a lot of trouble - gamestop have a deal of 2 for 30 at the moment, DMC is in it and on the list, lots of others too id say.

Bought 4 as I will get a copy for my brother for his birthday.

Is the Gamestop 2 for €30 deal only online or is it also in-store?

On the Xtravision deal it seems to just say DS for the likes of the 3DS games so I don't know what that means..

there's a few of the games listed as part of the 2 for €30 deal in gamestop, devil may cry, F1 race stars, one of the just dance games. so if there's not time to wait for games to be delivered you can still get the last of us for €35,

in my xtravision they were also including grid 2, dead island riptide and something else along with the last of us as games you could get for €4.99 with two from the list, not sure if that's the same for all xtravisions.

Face Training and either of the Professor Layton games along with Damnation would probably be cheap in store if you can find them...

Tried to get this offer in my local store, one that is closing the staff member dealing with me wouldn't honour the deal,I am lucky I got a Joel edition in the same store an hour earlier, both of my games were definitely on the list,more bull**** for me in Xtravision.

bad going that should try a different store,i was in portlaoise today and got it they had the list inal infront of them but the store manager wasnt able to get the offer to work even do the games were on it she just ended up discounting the game down herself and gave it to me and said she would sort her end out herself later

Do you have to have the case and booklet for trade-ins?

As I have two games from the list but one of them is without
its original case and booklet. Obviously would be very embarrassing
if I went down and they didn't accept it!! :P

Usually you would need the case at the very least so the store can scan the barcode, may be try to download a scan of the cover for the game.

Any of the Professor Laytons might be cheap in gamestop, Zelda Spirit Tracks, Warioland: The Shake Dimension, Crash of the Titans (xbox) or Damnation (xbox)

All of these should be relatively cheap..

face training is only 9.99 was just in gamestop portlaoise and they had loads of them in stock im sure others have them to and are on the list for xtravision

Darn it rang Gamestop about 10mins ago just asked if they had Warioland and Sid Meires Pirates they had none.. Maybe they will have Face Training though... Might call into Xtravision first as apparently theres a deal with 3 for 20euro on PS3 games with games that will work on Gamestop deal for 10er...

In xtravision in Strabane and in letterkenny, they were sold out. Said the offer was until June 28. Just as long as don't get stuck with the games.

Max payne isn't on the xtra vision list but if you see anything in there that's on the list pick it up but don't do it all in the one transaction, bring it off and take off all the xtravision stickers and either get something else to go back in or else leave it a couple of hours to go back.

A few games on that list have been in a buy one get one free in Smyths the last month or two. Don't know how many of them would still be in stock at this stage but worth checking. One of the imagine 3ds games, doods big adventure, ufc trainer and dance central 3 off the top of my head.

There is limited stock available for the offer . Newbridge had 10 copies of last of us and they were sold out last night . All if Kildare sold out. 6 copies in portlaoise as of 11am today.

I bought mine in GameStop for €10 deal. Again limited stock for deal as he expected stock to be cleared by 2pm.

Got this deal in Letterkenny yesterday morning despite a hiccup. The girl could initially deal with it as the manager wasn't there :eek: Had to call back an hour later.

Went to Stillorgan but they were out of stock and they said everywhere was. I asked how long the trade in deal would last and I was told a couple of weeks at least and they will definitely have it back in stock before the deal is over.

Although, with branch closing signs everywhere I can't see them getting much extra stock in. Shame as it would have been a sweet deal.

Why in the name of god would you do that?

I don't think you can if they're both for the same console but you can if they're for different consoles, for example you can't trade in 2 copies of devil may cry for ps3 but you can trade in 1 devil may cry for ps3 and 1 devil may cry for xbox.

that's how it works in gamestop anyway, maybe xtravision is slightly different. could always ring and ask because at least then you're not making a wasted trip.

CEX on Liffey Street have a couple of the Wii and ps3 titles on the ganestop list for €15. Handy enough given how close CEX and gamestop are, not the cheapest option though.

Went into Xtra Vision in naas about this offer on Sunday and I was told it's ongoing and that it will be back in stock Thursday. I'll report back here if I manage to pick up a copy but this doesn't seem to be a once off (first batch of stock etc) offer
