Laptop upgrade question

    Hi All,

    My old laptop died on me and I just purchased a HP ENVY 4 with and an i3.
    This also has an i5 varient and Im presuming to save costs the motherboard for each will be the same just hte processor is different.

    My question is - I have the i5 removed from my old comp (this works just fine) can this be installed in the HP envy?

    I will be getting this professionally done seeing as I have the dextretity of an AOP but is this technically possible?
