I know with selling the likes of a laptop or pc it's best to give the HD a going over with DBAN or the likes, just wondering is a factory reset on a phone generally ok to do before selling on? Also, would folks revert to stock rom or sell with whatever ROM you had on last? Does a factory reset revert to stock ROM or just clean the current ROM?

I'm selling 2 original HTC Desires, I guess EBAY is the best place to pass them on.

Throw them up on adverts and you'll probably have buyers within a day or two assuming they are priced to sell.

Thanks guys, I didn't root it myself so not to keen on trying to reflash stock rom. I might just leave the current roms as I guess anyone buying an original Desire might be doing it for experimental/modding reasons or something as they are old hat by this stage?

As far as I know the phones also legally have to be SIM unlocked before being sold too so be careful.

I've sold a couple - I just asked the buyers if they wanted the original ROM restored or the one I had on it.
