    Hi guys,

    Just put a new battery into my 2005 Alfa 156 and now I need a radio code. I didnt get the 'code card' when I bought the car. Anyone have a default code or any ideas??

    Thanks

    Have a trawl through this;
    http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/ice-and-blue-and-me/140598-need-a-radio-code-ask-here-171.html

    ....just googled alfa radio code by the way and that was one of many results.

    Have a good look through the handbook and service book - people often note the code down somewhere. Alternatively, you could try calling the garage who sold the car new.

    Thanks for the advice. I dont have the serial number of radio at the moment, (can't get the bloody thing out) so the alfa forum is no use. Bought the car from original dealer whose now closed down so can't contact them either!

    Any Alfa or Fiat dealer would probably do it for a few €€

    You can use a coat hanger to remove the radio very easily and I got the code from the Alfa owners forum within half an hour once I had all the relevant info from the rear of the stereo.
