El Viento is one that has come good for me a few times at big prices, and he looks to have a decent amount in his favour today. He has some very decent form over 6 furlongs on decent ground and although he is high enough in the weights he has ran well of this mark before. This year he did give an eye-catching run in a very good race at Newbury behind Heeraat, and any repeat of that could well be good enough to get involved here. 16/1 seems too big.

Been poor in her 5 runs this season but has brilliant CD form. Won this race off 79 last year and quickly followed with another win over the CD 7 days later off 84. Her record over this CD off an official rating of 84 or lower reads 7 wins from 9 runs. Has dropped to a mark of 83, first time she’s been lower than 85 on turf since her win over this CD in June of last year. Sam James, on her for her last 4 CD wins, takes off 3lbs.

he was tipped here somewhere on his debut when given
an awful ride over 6 when it looked a step up would be ideal
they then run it back at 5f and it just wasnt quick enough
then back at 6f again
wins well tonite at 7f
strange imo when it looked obvious enough to me from its debut but
who am i to question bolger?
