    Hi...

I know this post is years old but I have an interview with this agency in a few weeks and I was just wondering how your OH got on.

Not well. At all. She told him that her client was very interested, and pretty much had him hold off on job applications for almost a month while she pretended that the client wanted to replace incompetent staff who was in contract and they had to wait for it to finish. As it turns out, there never was a job and it was just a ruse to get his details, and she wanted to keep tabs on him until she found an actual job!

Agencies like the one mentioned I would stay well clear off they advertised for drivers some time ago,And included every category of licence which imo was them trying to build up a database of people so when a job comes up they have applicants to but forward.
In other words it is called C.V harvesting.

Thanks for the reply! Oh well, that really sucks cause I thought I had something in the bag there. The job advertised was for waiting staff for events :/
I guess I have till my exams are over before I decide.
Thanks again for the reply :)

Thanks for the advice, I'll also take that on board.

    Hi,

Sha Sha Bear, I am sorry to hear that you where not successful when you applied for a position with Broadline Recruiters. Unfortunately we are unable to give every person who registers with us a job. We do have work available for drivers with our clients in North and South Dublin, however again, not every Driver that interviews with Broadline Recruiters is successful. We also under no circumstance stand in the way of anyone looking for full time work and would not stop an individual sending their CV to apply for other jobs.

Donkey Balls, we are sorry to hear that you feel recruitment agencies do 'CV hoarding', however this is not true. At Broadline Recruiters, we only advertise for real jobs, but again, not every applicant is successful, and as some of our positions are temp jobs, we would have a high turn over of staff as our temps find full time permanent positions.

If you in anyway feel that you have been mistreated or misrepresented by a recruiter in Broadline Recruiters, please feel free to contact Suzanne Guerin, Managing Director or Chloe Roberts Byrne, Compliance Officer in confidence on 014047172.

I don't think you read my post correctly. I did not apply for a job with your agency - my partner did. One of your colleagues continued to trick my partner into thinking a job was being offered to him, but when he independently contacted the company in question, he was assured that no positions were available AND that they did not deal with you as an agency regardless.

I would definitely agree with the CV hoarding - my partner had to send an email in to request that the constant texting and phoning about job offers AFTER he sourced his own employment was stopped.
He still gets emailed asking if he is available to start work and that a job is available for him

Artic & Rigid Drivers Immediate Start
Broadline Recruiters have a great new role on for Artic & Rigid Drivers working in South & North Dublin. This is initally a contract position but a full time position is available for a sucessful candidate who proves themselves in the role.

    The Candidate Requirements:

Full clean drivers license and experience driving
Must have proven record of no accidents in the past
Must have 3-4 years recent experience.
    Min 4 valid CPC Certificate’s
    Digital Tachograph Card
Must be customer focused and willing to work as team
Must be flexible to work any days from Monday to Sunday
Must be flexible to work any shifts
Must have excellent geographical knowledge of Dublin
The candidate must be reliable and hardworking

The CPC requirements above in bold is incorrect, In the advert you mention that the company has a team of experienced industry recruitment specialists if they did then the above mistake would not have been placed.

Bad experience with them.. I had an interview with them, I was promised that they have something for me after I finish HACCAP training.. so I took this training another week and they never called me. I sent them few e-mails and never got anything back.. so I just wasted my time travelling from City Centre to Tallaght few times..
