4000 Irish students offering sex on dating website for college fees

I can see the appeal...

MORE than 4,000 hard-up Irish students have signed up to a 'sugar daddy' dating service to pay their way through college.

Some 4,464 female undergraduates here have joined SeekingArrangement.com, a US-based online-dating website, which pairs off young women with wealthy – and usually much older – international businessmen...

The statistics show that four of the top 10 colleges using the service are based in Dublin.
UCD tops the list, with 399 members, followed by Trinity College Dublin at 395.

UCD works out at 1.6% of their total students doing this.

That's actually nothing considering half of the students would do it for free.

It's still a shame but I don't see what anyone can do about this.

Isn't prostitution the oldest profession in the world......I'd say most that signed up but won't go through with it. some kind of publicity stunt to increase traffic on there site.

Even if all courses were 4 years, that's 120,000 undergrads at college at one time

= 60,000 girls.
=> 1 in 13 female undergrads has put themselves on the website?
