thrush sightings?

    has anybody notices a decline in thrushes this year? i've only seen a couple this year so far and none in the west of the country.

    Plenty around here. They can be very secretive at this time of year but the numbers of Song and Mistle thrushes seems quite normal at present.

    i love listening the their song, but have not heard any so far this year.. plenty blackbirds and robins though

    i have a mistle thrush nesting pretty much outside my door and a few song thrushes nesting in the locality.

    great!! a thrush used to imitate my landline ringing a couple of years ago.. it was extremely talented at doing so :cool:

    The record cold spring has killed alot of smaller birds - stonechats and swallow numbers are well down compared to last year on my place in North Mayo.
