Gmail Recovery - how long??

    My gmail account was inadvertently deleted. I went through the recovery process - and that suggested that recovery was successful (i.e. answered all the questions correctly - and it suggested afterwards that recovery had been accomplished). However, when I log in - it then says "gmail temporarily unavailable"....try in a few minutes.


    That was this morning. How long before it's likely that I will be able to login normally? Account was only deleted a couple of hours before recovery was attempted.

    Just in case anyone finds themselves in similiar territory - and finds this thread via a websearch - the answer in this case was approx. 24 hours.
