    Hi Guys,

My warranty has another 6 months left. I noticed a very small scratch on the centre of the screen. it covers one pixel. Does my waranty cover this, or how does the extra 1 or 2 year warranty work with apple?

Is there any other way of fixing this?

Nope scratches aren't covered as it's down to the user, not an inherent fault with the device. If you got it like that, then its another story. But unfortunately you've to deal with it or buy a screen replacement yourself.

There's only 12mts warranty on an iPhone. It's the only phone that doesn't have 2 years. Our consumer rights agency should be take out and shot.

Only fix is a new screen.

Maybe some type of quick fix, but I doubt a replacement screen would be worthwhile or cost effective, especially for such a small scratch, and originally I assumed it was an iPhone so with a MBA it should be even harder to notice.

AFAIK the 2 year warranty is available for Apple devices over here, something like if you actually mention to customer care that "under irish consumer rights.... bla bla bla" they might actually offer to fix it for free.

For scratches that are your fault the cost is gonna be on you though.
