HTC One V - Facebook

    Hey,

    I have a crappy HTC One V. The Android Facebook app has a "find friends" feature, which has a "contacts" option. When selected, it appears to scan your phonebook and match mobile numbers with accounts. It's, ahem... useful for research purposes. My friend's facebook app still have this feature and it works for them (samsung devices)


    However, it hasn't worked for me in months. It either just hangs and has a rotating loading circle now forever, or says no contacts found.
    I've checked for updates, and even rolled back to earlier versions, no luck....

    Anyone have any ideas? Googling has proved useless.
