    Hi all

I hope I can get some advice on this.

I am looking for a camera which can be used to take pictures of people on the street, or perhaps in dark locations like bars or clubs.

It would be for this type of photography:

The photos will be used on a website.

The camera needs to be flexible (bright or dark conditions) and able to take a lot of photos in succession.

It should be a digital camera and be beginner friendly.

Can any of you give me advice?

    Thank you.

its not the camera but the knowledge of how to take photos in low light conditions and creative techniques with flashes.

a compact camera can be used and can get good results if you know how it reacts in low light and know which scene mode to use to get the desired effect.

do you have a budget ? a bridge camera would also do ...if you know how to use it.

:D of course if you have the money and don't want to learn about how to do it you could always go off and purchase a professional DSLR and kit to allow you to take images without you having to learn about how the camera does it....I'd recommend you purchase a Canon 1DX, Canon 24-70 f2.8 mkII and Canon 600ex-rt flash ... put it into "P" mode and it should take care of everything ..."P" is for professional !! ;) ... should only set you back about €8/9K
