Hi all

So I have been a PAYE worker for the past 10 years, then 3 years ago I set up a fun part time side business and registered as a sole trader and went through all the necessary steps and tax returns each year etc.

But 2 months ago I handed in my notice to leave my full time job so I can concentrate on completing a Post Grad course I have been doing for the past year. So at the end of this month I will be 100% finished my Post Grad and will look for a new full time job.

As I am still technically set up as a sole trader, am I entitled to job seekers benefit while I am looking for a new job?
