Hoping somebody can help me, I have been jogging for the last year but for the last two weeks I get a shooting pain in the back of my knee:confused:. I run about 5k every session 5 days a week but its on the footpath as where I live has no green just wondering would it be cartilage related, ligament or hamstring related. I also walk about 5k every weekday on the footpath also so maybe its wear and tear. It got so bad last night I had to give up after about 5 minutes and struggled to walk home any advice or help would be great

I'd go to a physio mate. As I always say, if you're running 5x a week and don't have some sort of lower body routine, any small problems/imbalances become bigger problems.

Sounds like "Runner's knee"-most common running injury, but yeah go to a physio

We dont give medical advice here, go to a real life doc or physio.
