Hi My dad can't open the door on his (locked) 05 Land Cruiser, whether physically or via remote. He replaced the battery but still no joy. Any ideas what's wrong?

Could need oil in the lock.

Hopefully someone hasn't tried breaking in and cut the loom on the door.
Either way the barrell should turn.

Is it a post 03 model?
