Unfortunately just beside my front sitting room window is a half hidden corner which acts as a perfect loo.

Was cleaning the upstairs window above this today and the smell of urine was awful.

    Its a red brick wall.

Whats the cheapest way of treating this.

    I'm thinking of 50/50 bleach
    Vinegar - expensive
    Others?

Should I spray on or just throw a bucket of something over the area.

Not certain but would a cup full of washing powder in a bucket of warm water brushed in work? Not a good idea on tarmac but could work on concrete?

FFS. Yes. Throw a bucket directly over the area. When you notice somebody's pi55ing up against your house. I'd say you've got the mix almost right. Maye add a skin irritant?

    Disgusting.

Half a bottle of Frank's Red Hot Sauce into each bucket full should do it.

Bleach and water or jeyes fluid will smell bad but better than what's there. Then you could possible try to seal the brick so that fluid runs off rather than sits and soaks in. Then I'd advise a simple either constant low light on the spot or a bright spotlight with a carefully pointed sensor to trip when someone steps in to the corner, few enough people will use the area if a bright light comes on when they step into it. You could also put a few large pot plants there so there is no corner to actually step into.

There is that. I don't envy you with this one. Any idea who's doing it?

Great suggestions there, particularly like the one about sealing the brick.

If it's ongoing CCTV is your best bet IMO.

Definitely the sensor light is the way to go long term.

I'd also be thinking of one of sensor heads for the garden hose. Same as light but a blast of cold water instead!

    It's disgusting.

Brilliant idea, it seems a bit slow to react though.

The tourist office in Suffolk street had these problem, they could a sheet of ply and put it in the corner, the result was no one could piss in the corner and those that tried to ended up with piss on them as the puss rolled down the ply.

THompsons water sealers on the bricks and pavement in that area should help it get away from your house and a sensor light might help embarrass them into not doing it in the first place.
