    Hi all,

I am interested to hear suggestions for a dual sport for beginners?

I am 35 years old and looking to buy, currently i like the KLE 500.. its not too small, and not too big, and pretty much what i am after, however i would also like your input in regards to suggestions on other bikes so i can get some comparisons..

    Thanks

    H

    How tall are you?
Do you intend on taking it off road or is it for tarmac?
    Budget?

    Thanks for reply...

I intent 90% tarmac for work and the of bit of light off road just when out for a spin out the country if I'm down a small muddy road in the middle of nowhere, nothing too serious.

Second hand bike in and around 2 or 2 and a half grand..

I am 5 foot 9, weight about 12 stone (on a good day haha)

    Cheers

DL650 ? Much sweeter engine than the KLE, and I'd imagine a lot lighter too.

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Had an F650 Dakar as my first 'big' bike. Great bike, highly recommend you check them out.
