The comments on you tube are quite abusive towards these kids.

Is it not just a bunch of youths having a larf?

That "James Wall" man in the comments seems like he would be rightly at home on boards.

Take a look at some of todays threads on here and think what some of the posters on here would want to happen those kids.

Its all a great laugh as long as its not your business a load of kids are climbing all over. What happens if one of them falls through or off the roof?

Reading his comments and they remind me of something an absolutely gormless gob****e would spout.

Does anyone know how deep the Liffey is at that point?

I'd be more conserved about the shopping trolley monsters that lurk.

    Ahh Youtube comments
Drunks and junkies living on the dole, its the foreigners that actually work, most have 2/3 jobs...The dirty Irish, welcome nowhere, have Australia destroyed

Can't the comments just be about how stupid or crazy the people in the video are? Nope, not a chance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 380 ✭✭BGozIE

Watching that Liffey clip, I couldn't help but think...the chances of me missing that wall if I was jumping in from where there jumping from, are slim:pac:

Is it not just a bunch of youths having a larf?

It is, untill such time as one of them jumps off the roof and doesn't see one of the other lads in the water and he takes him out....forever....:(

It looks dodgy enough. Wouldnt chance it myself but I'd hate to deprive anyone else

I found this nearly impossible to masturbate to.

On a serious note - not going to be long before someone is killed fecking around on the James Joyce Bridge.

It's a Darwin activity so no probs if they're happy to go at it. If the railing doesn't get you the Liffey will.

The smell of them afterwards must have been shocking.

To me that face splitting video is worse than the screwdriver one :( Pure sickening.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 341 ✭✭Hownowcow

When I was child on hot days we would sometimes dive into the canal at the locks. Our parents didn't know.

Sometime in the nineties a child jumped in and got caught up in a shopping trolley someone had thrown in. He drowned.

I hate seeing children diving at the locks now.

I have seen some bad stuff on the internet in my time but that is right up there with the screwdriver video.

I'm not going to look down on them like some of the people on youtube ... but jesus lucky to clear that wall. Fair play to them

Pesky kids, finding ways to have fun that do not conform to our molly coddled health and safety mad values. They should be shot...from a huuugee cannon, out into the middle of the Liffey, at a bouncy castle moored like a barge. Now that would be fun.. where could you get a cannon like that?

absolutely brilliant! Fair balls to them... Kids with a bita get up and go, courage and a sense of adventure.. Maybe they should stay at home and watch TV... Gawd if they keep doing stuff like this they might get wet, catch a cold or even get hurt...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,835 ✭✭✭✭cloud493

I wouldn't be jumping in the liffey from any height or building. That waters disgusting.

its actualy a lot more common than think,as a....um..gore QC technician, have seen a lot of videos of injuries like his,and in very poor hospitals where the nurses prefer to spend more time whipping their mobile phones out to record the poor buggers whilst theyre writhing around in agony, instead of sorting them out with painkillers, sedatives, intubation and ventilation, surgery et al.
it is surviveable providing they get given help straight away, have the wounds cleaned with decent stuff to avoid bacterias getting in,their brain and carotid artery are still intact, they will need a ****lot of surgery though and it woud be awful to imagine that in somewhere like america where they have to pay excessively for health services or a country which has awful health care.

There are a couple of trolls working hard on that video

Youtube is pretty limited in terms of reporting abusive comments/ posts in fact it doesn't seem to be possible.
