and want to buy a new one. It's another €600 as I am not due an upgrade. I will be waiting another few weeks before I get my repaired one back. I feel lost, honestly and panicked without my phone!

Wondering whether to splash the cash and pay €599 and try sell the repaired one.

    Its a Galaxy S4

Depends on the phone you had really.

Was it a new enough one or quite old?

Before spending €600 make sure it's worth it.
Not long ago I was tempted by the HTC One while my phone was being repaired, but it was barely worth the cost.

why wouldnt you buy a cheap smartphone to tide you over? you're suffering withdrawal symptoms from not having a smartphone....not from not having an s4 i'll bet.

the older one will not fetch anywhere close to what you would be asking, so you are going to be out of pocket.

    Get a life.

Anytime my phone has downtime I go back to my trusty N95 8GB. NOTE2 was out of action for 10 days recently.

    Grow up.
    And cop on.

What makes you think I'm offended?

Maybe this thread should be moved to the mental health forum?

Have a look on adverts.ie etc and see what 2nd hand S4s are selling for. This difference between this number and €599 is what the convenience of buying a new one today will cost you.

Then decide if you can afford this amount.
