    hi guys
my main sport is swimming, and I also do one triathlon every year.
Im not a cyclist but I do a bit of cycling.
At present I have some niggling injuries (leg and shoulders) which means that swimming and running are pretty much ruled out until I recover.
Im doing a bit of gym work and some cycling.
I was hoping to do the Ring of Kerry event but unfortuantely the date its on, I will be abroad on holidays.
Are there any other big, fun, non-competitive cycles for the general public like the Ring of Kerry cycle on this summer that I could do intead, around late July or August or September?

You could try the Tour de Burren - http://www.tourdeburren.com/ - three routes depending on how far you want to go but its on in two weeks time!

West Cork 200 (also 150 and 100 routes). Did this two years ago and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunate calendar clashes have prevented me from returning. 22nd June.

Rebel Tour. Did this last two years, great event, amazing scenery. I was dubious about the move to Glengarriff last year but the route is just fantastic, well worth the extra driving time. 14th September.

How about the 120km Ambo ramble on the 30th June.
Starts In ballinhassig at 8.30 and heads out the back rd to bandon out to ballineen across to clonakilty from food then off to timaleague, garretstown, old head, back through kinsale to ballinhassig for hot food.
30 euro with all money going to the ethiopian deaf project
