Extermination through sterilisation - the solution to "skangerism"

Since the sun put its hat on Dublin has seen riots on a beach in Portmarnock, a gang of feral youths in near Dalkey smash up some poor chaps car while he was in it, that same gang terrorise passengers on a bus and last night a train was invaded by louts on the journey between Pearse Street Station and Maynooth. Blood was spilt before the Guards arrived.

Rather than wring our hands at the horror of it all, is it time to just acknowledge
that there is a strata of society that will never be reformed regardless of best intentions and state spending and that sterilisation of the Skanger class is the best way forward. It won't catch all the bad genes but certainly a large % will be wiped out without killing anyone.

I'm not entirely opposed to this, but the idea of mass steralisation is something that raises an eyebrow for me.

I've no idea why. I'm fully in favour of "life meaning life" in terms of sentencing which would effectively remove that persons ability to reproduce anyway. If a 30 year old goes to prison for life his chances of reproducing are, or at least should be, the exact same if he were steralised.

The assumed absolute right to reproduce becomes redundant when there are easy and widely accepted workarounds (such as locking that person up).


Perhaps we could give the option of reduced prison sentences for sterilisation volunteers.

I have a similarly stupid better idea. How about we non-skanger people simply outbreed the skangers? The government could implement a pay-as-you-go sex grant to encourage increased sexual activity among the decent people of Ireland.

I think we should enclose offending areas where these scumbags come from with Berlin style walls. Let people who work out everyday because they are contributing to society but the rest are on lockdown.

Actually one night while having a few drinks with friends we were talking about this subject.
I came up with an amazing idea, here it is:
Choose a county nobody likes, lets say Roscommon, fence it off Jurassic Park style, take all the normal people and move them elsewhere while leaving the scumbags there.
Round up all the other scumbags around the country and throw them in also.
Here comes the best bit, charge people, stag do's etc, to enter the park on a hunting weekend, you get to hunt down and kill scumbags, while generating money for the country also, win win for everyone!!

its quite an odd one, it could work. Wasn't there something about rapists getting reduced sentances for being castrated.

or maybe i was readin the onion.

On the plus side though mass sterilisation would lead to a reduction in people to feed and people to consume limited resources.

very much like a tv show that Channel 4 recently done. Won't say anymore though as giving the name would ruin the series!

We just need prisons that are fairly spartan & with hard labour. Properly monitored, so that these are not inhumane... I'm thinking a prison where you have to do the equivalent of footing the turf for eight hours or more, every day... the kind of living accommodation & food that you would expect in the Foreign Legion (or Donegal gaeltacht (har de har)).

On exit, everyone gets paid a few quid backpay for the work you did, but in food or education vouchers.

Eh, I'm sure this idea could be improved on... but that's the basics of it.

There are clinics available in the US where convicted pedophiles can choose to go to "rehabilitate" themselves with the option of chemical castration.

Maybe that's what you're thinking about?

Louis Theroux has a documentary on it I believe.

that's gonna take a lot of work though, maybe we should relocate these undesirables to camps, so we can er, concentrate our efforts there. then it would be much easier to move on to other undesirable classes, such as jews, gypsies, homosexuals, socialists and others

Spent some time in Limerick and its the only place i've been given fake money, the rest of it i see in news

Dublin? been (well attempted to be) mugged there, got started a few times for no reason etc plus in the OP both incidents were in....? plus its full of dubliners who think nothing exists outside the pale.

I know several people who could tick the first three of those. They're not 'skangers' though. You'd probably like them in fact. Very decent people.

Unfortunately though, there are some who find their social status, accent, fashion sense etc, offensive. And who can't seem to see beyond these.
