Quick question for sheep farmers

    Just a quick question lads
I shoot any fox I get close to when I'm out hunting to keep their numbers down for pheasants, rabbits etc and the farmer (even though he has no sheep) does be happy when I do and it saves another farmer losing lambs somewhere else.
But I just wondering how many sheep/lambs have you lost because of foxes?
I'm interested to hear the numbers

Usually wouldn't lose many but this year was particularly bad, lost about 12 live lambs, but I used to leave out the dead lambs and he seemed happy with those some nights but between dead and alive there would have been near 30 taken(out of 800 lambs)

That's not too bad. And at what price would each lamb go for?

€80 to €130 depending on the time of year you're selling
