GameStop are selling the Aquablue 3DS for just under €115, thought it was a good price seeing as Amazon and the likes are selling it for around the €150 mark. Not sure if its a misprice, seeing as other colours are selling for the same price but preowned. But this is marked as new. The calibre of games for the device seem to have improved as of the last while, with a few more gems coming out soon.

Good deal, but the extra for the XL version is worth it I think.

So I've heard - If you try the foreign Amazons (Amazon.es, Amazon.it, etc), should be able to pick one up for around €160 delivered which is good compared to the €200+ prices here.

Is there much interest in the Nintendo hand sets nowadays? Just noticed with my kids over the past few years from begging to get the latest DS console, to now not wanting one at all as they can get tablets for cheaper and download many different games for little or no cost.

Not much, which is a shame really because the Frist-Party range of games are excellent, with Mario Bros, Luigis Mansion, Zelda and the likes. I do see a time though, if things get quite bad for them, where they may release their games (maybe even older games) on iOS/Android. But until then, I thought the €100+ for the 3DS was quite good.
