Has anyone else been really bored of Chris Jericho since his second entrance to wwe? I perceive him to be a guy who genuinely thinks he is the best in the world but is no where near as entertaining as other guys on the roster? I know his angle with Shawn was generally received well but his interactions on Raw I find always bland and forced. His comedy attempts I do not find funny in the slightest and a bit awkward.

Dont get me wringing love classic Jericho, I thought he was entertaining as hell, and his books are great but I never get excited for his programs regardless of who it's against anymore

I know he generally perceived as an internet darling but I don't get it anymore? Maybe it's one to many comebacks and I'm letting my perception of him flaw my opinion of hum the last few years but I do not hold him in a high regard as I once did?

Anyone still love him or like me think he is meh.....

I'm getting very bored of him now I have to say.

I don't by all this he's putting over new talent talk either. He is back for the money!

No one can blame him coming back as a part timer and getting great money he put the work in over the years to be able to do this.

But I would have thought he would have been smart enough to change up his image on his returns. This maybe down to the WWE as it seems to be most if not all wrestlers are afraid to or don't want to change there move set or told not change it.

Don't stick the "all about the money" on him - he doesn't need any handouts from Vince. He saved his money very well and has multiple outside interests. I'm sure he's well made but WWE needs Jericho, not the other way around. I agree he's not done much since returning though, especially leaving after Mania was a bit annoying. Just give it a little while for him to heat back up - i.e. Payback vs Punk. Those guys have amazing chemistry.

He might not be Mick Foley greedy for money, But he is not doing it out of the goodness of his heart. For the last few year he always returned just in time for Wrestlemania payout. This time he has stuck around abit longer. It's "all about the money" at the end of the day It's the wrestling business.

He seems to be a weak version of The Rock now spouting catchphrases and not really bringing his A game to the show. Himself and Heyman fair lacked real spark the last fortnite I felt.

Lately he seems content to just cruise along, help new talent get over, and thats about it. I still genuinely enjoy watching him most of the time

He's basically a glorified enhancement talent these days, but he seems happy to be so.

Would love to see him get another WWE title reign and feud with the likes of Cena and Punk again and then have him drop the title to DBryan

For the last few years? He has returned twice for WM season in recent history, this time being the second. Last year he stayed until Summerslam and left to tour with Fozzy.

I like Jericho but he's a C*nt in person. Least favorite wrestler I ever met.

New talent? CM Punk and Ziggler aren't exactly new. Yes Fandango got his win at WM but it was all good. Jericho is still one of the best

Face Jericho is the perfect foe for Sandow, they have to do that before he goes touring again.

I have enjoyed his work since he came back, face Jericho is always great fun and i'm not sure he has worked with the right people since moving on from Ziggler. Fandango was too busy trying to get his gimmick established to really get any chemistry going between him and Jericho.

he was having the best matches on WWE TV for weeks on end before The Shield and Daniel Bryan started knocking it out of the park.

not what he was, but he's still entertaining enough, and still has an important role to play.

I don't think he was though, I generally find it hard like his matches, noting in them stands out really, the last time he done somethin of note move was when mysterio dud a dive and he countered it into a icebreaker back when they fueded for the if title, granted them made that title seem important again for awhile, but any other program he has had since then that should have been good just weren't....in my opinion....

I know his feud with Michaels was viewed as the best feud of the year but I just couldn't get into it because for me he had what some people call xpac heat, yeah he is a heel and I hated him...but I didn't love to hate him like I love hating punk, Orton or old rapper heel cena,I just thought he was a dick, who didnt reinvent himself,he just wore a suit and said parasites alot

In my opinion Chris Jericho is one quarter of a match I would love to see headline a major PPV in the future. The other 3 being CM Punk Daniel Byran and Cody Rhodes. Yes his gimmick needs to be changed from 'Best in the world at what i do' to something else perhaps a submission based wrestling style ie man of 1001 holds etc. A fued under that gimmick with a submission specialised wrestler like Daniel Byran would for me anyway make me watch the matches take an interest in the fued.

I'm not bored by Chris Jericho, and neither are the live crowds. He adds star power to shows. he is somebody who will always be a legend, so like Snuka in 1990, can be used to help elevate others, put on a show and still be over... His in ring work is still pretty damn good too. His best days are behind him, and he now moves a little slower, but he's still excellent in my book.

What do we think about the idea of a Heyman lead double turn between Jericho and Punk at Payback?

Jericho heel turn with Heyman in tow = gold.

Punk turning face = not so gold.

Punk is face on his return once its in Chicago, nothing left for him as a heel. With the Shield and plenty of other heels around to face Punk it could work well.

It doesn't sound like an instant gold idea straight away alright but if Punk can be a dick as a face (its okay for Sheamus to be a dick) then I would welcome it and he should be really good. Lots of people like him even as a heel anyway.

Have no idea about Jericho's Summer schedule to be honest and that area of their site is down for me. But Punk doesn't really have anyone to work with given
Cena and Daniel Bryan will be working together & Punk is returning full time at Payback.

Heel Punk has Sheamus and Del Rio as options I suppose.

Face Punk has Jericho, Shield, Ryback (again), Ziggler and of course Brock.

Orton could fit either role yet!

July 14th is Money in the Bank so that is doable for Jericho vs Punk.

Summerslam though clashes with the Reading Festival show though. Who knows Punk might wrestle Lesnar at Summerslam.

Its probably gonna be Axel vs Punk at MitB and Punk vs (insert part-time talent with drawing power) Lesnar then at SummerSlam.
I'd love Punk and Lesnar vs Taker and HHH or Rock tbh but WWE hate tag match mains.

I've only gotten bored of him in the last year or so. The guy has done some good work since his first return in 2007, hell i'd argue he's done some of the best work of his career after that return. But he's always been pretty consistent over the years. It's just that now I couldn't care less if he retired tomorrow. There's nothing left for him to do, except be a talent enhancement guy. Now whenever I see him, it just feels empty. His face run just seems quite generic and unorginal. But I still have high hopes for this CM Punk thing.

Jericho has never done anything for me. He is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is - his mic skills are above average but a million miles away from most of the top guys. His comedy routine is not funny, his band are shít (do Fozzy have even one fan who isn't a wrestling fan - doubt it!) and his theme is one of the main reasons he became such a big name.

    Other than that he's great.

    IMO. ;)

Jericho is one of the greats. His matches are nearly always top-notch and his promos (whether as Jeritroll, Y2J or TBITWAWID) are better than 90% of what else is put out there. And he has shown a willingness to put guys over that most others in his position have lacked. Really don't know what people want from him.

What ratio does Fozzy wrestle / play bands for these days?
