Nexus 7 deep sleep problem

For awhile now im having trouble with my Nexus 7, it goes into deep sleep and I cant get it out of it. I have to leave it charged for few minutes to get it going again. Thinking maybe I should go back to stock?

put it on charge for a few hours and then go back to it. it happens every now and then to me but I just leave it a few hours then try turn it on and it usually works. I'm rooted as well btw

Volume up and power button does the trick for me .
