Put washing up liquid into a bucket and fill it with water and pour over a spot on the garden, the worms will come to the top

Dig or scrape up some muck and poor water over it then place a carpet, rug or a sheet of wood over it
Next morning will be plenty of them just be ready to dig for the big ones that get away

Go out of a damp night with a torch and they'll be on top of low grass. Great on golf courses or soccer/GAA pitches.

If you have or you know someone with a compost bin there should be plenty of worms in the bottom of it.

    That's the best way
You just need to be quick.
