What and where is Galway PSC 2?

Received a text today from the same number which texts the DSP signing reminders, telling me:
"Reminder you have an appointment at <snip> in Galway PSC 2."

I was in the main Galway Social Welfare office today and the 2 members of staff had no idea where this is.

Does anyone know what it is and where I can find it.
    Thanks

PSC stands for (the new) Public Services Card - I'm presuming that's what the appointment is for, so you could contact DSP Client Identity Services @ 1890 927 999 & ask them to clarify exactly where & when to go & what ID to bring, though I'd be surprised if it wasn't a dedicated area somewhere in the Hynes Buildings on St. Augustine Street.

    Thanks everyone,
I phoned the DSP Client Identity Services who confirmed that Galway PSC 2 is in the old tourist office on Merchants Rd (near the Victoria).

    Just spotted both posts.

Here is where I went: https://maps.google.ie/?ll=53.27324,-9.048464&spn=0.000013,0.010525&t=m&z=17&layer=c&cbll=53.273171,-9.048362&panoid=DxZe0AZdzf6_GEh3oB8ObA&cbp=12,231.01,,0,9.11

No harm thought to call the number above, as they are in the process of changing around a lot of the DSP offices in Galway.

Also, make sure to bring photographic id with you, otherwise they will send you home and reschedule for another date.

So now we are getting an ID card. How long before it becomes compulsory to carry it and the police start asking to see it on the street, just like in any dictatorship? Is nobody bothered about this besides me?

Your getting an ID card with your photo on it so you can't send your sister to collect your dole in the PO when your on your holidays in the Canaries. What's the problem?
