    I can get a 34t Ultegra for €26 but a 50t will set me back €111

Anyone know the reason for this? I mean, it's only an extra bit of aluminium on a 50 v 34 isn't it? Or is there something else to account for the huge price difference?

Think prices went up after Andy Schlek'd off his chain trying to get onto the big ring - that little tab on the big ring must be made out of gold/anti-efffitup or something.

I found the similar but not as bad with 105. 15 &35 respectively for 34/50

btw - bike24 have ultegra for 19.90/84.90 with I imagine 10 for shipping.

i just have a chainset lying around, buy them when they are cheep, i think my 105 triple cost 88 euro, i actually wanted a compact but decided i would stick with what i've got as it was that cheap.
