Parts for Galaxy Nexus Repair

Hello,

Has anyone ever bought parts in Dublin City Centre for repairing a phone?

Specifically, replacing the usb board of a Galaxy Nexus.
I can buy one online, but just wondering are there any shops where I might be able to get the part in town?

I presume you mean charging socket ? Is it loose? or what is the issue.

Yeah, the usb charge socket is broken and needs to be replaced.

The problem is that it's soldered to an entire board, you can see it in this picture here.

So I need to get one, but it would save me time if I could get it in a shop somewhere nearby rather than wait for delivery.

Try syncron.ie blanch, they have most bits or I'm sure could point you in the direction.

They don't have it on their site but I'll contact them and see if they have it.

Yes its worth calling them, they only list all the more popular parts.
