Hi lads, Have an L85 A1.. G&G , bought recently, was doing this usual bollox of firing half alright now and again on semi, mostly alright on full auto,
Found a vid that said about cutting away a wire from loom, and unsolder where it went to outside of switch casing, oh and bend in the prong on the inside as its now doing nothing.... Now this worked great, and the gun pretty much is perfect. But, It does still miss an odd one on semi now. I know from when I had switch apart that the remaining contacts were a little worn, but like electrically if someone gets me, Burnt away like.... So after all this long guff... Anyone know, is there a heat resistant one you can get, or..?
Also let me know of good upgrades as that's next...
    Thanks all

You will find the switch contacts tend to burn out quickly with the g&g sa80. Its a common issue among others with both models. Expect to replace them as a matter of course. A fix might be to install a MOSFET into it - should prolong the life of the contacts.
