What ever happened to Kieran Keane? The first link to this document from boards had the following Introduction. Kieran Keane was down as one of the 6 named...

"Statement Regarding Cycling Ireland’s EGM of 15th June 2013:

Concerning the nomination of Mr. Pat McQuaid for election as President of the UCI for a third term, six Cycling Ireland members release their rationale for a No vote."

    This has now changed to
Statement Regarding Cycling Ireland’s EGM of 15th June 2013:
Concerning the nomination of Mr. Pat McQuaid for election as President of the UCI for a third term, five Cycling Ireland members release their rationale for a No vote.

so has Kieran Jumped overboard, been pushed overboard or has Anto and the Doc just been trying to demonstrate to the british signatory of the 6, oops 5! what Brendan Behan meant meant when he said that "whenever a new Group come together in Ireland the first thing to organise is the Split"
There has to be a prize for the best or funniest answer as to why the 6 became 5

He gopt married at the back-end of last week and did not have chance to review the document. Given he's not going to get chance to review it for a while he simply asked for his name to be removed. He has tweeted to this effect

    Sorry, not funny, but accurate

Such a mundane reason will be a dreadful disappointment to some.

Not exactly demonstrating a lot of faith or trust by Kieran in the other five is it?

I think it demonstrates the unarguability of the case against McQuaid that his die-hard supporters can only poke at imaginary divides between the authors rather than address the actual contents of the document.

Wedding on Friday and on honeymoon from tomorrow so surely this is understandable. You couldn't find a more passionate, believer in this issue, although I may not agree on all of his views!

The funniest one I can think of is that he had a road to damascus type conversion and now believes Pat Mcquaid is the right man to lead cycling for the next 4 years..

A quiz with just one Question. You need to watch some more Mastermind.

I missed this gem of a thread while in Donegal. Sums up the pro-McQuaid camp perfectly.
