Hi, we will be travelling to Europe later this month by car and are looking at roadside cover at the moment.
We saw this business mentioned roadrescue.ie N it seems quite competitive in covering the basics ie car repatriation, hire car cover, accommodation.
Ha anyone experience of this company?
The alternative we are looking at is the AA which has very comprehensive cover in the worst case scenario, but is twice the price, although I am aware that the cheaper option might be a false economy in the long run.

    Thank you.
this policy says it will only pay a max of €750 max per claim. That doesn't seem like a huge amount considering potential costs involved.

Has anybody broken down and used this company for recovery? We are travelling through UK, France, Belgium and Germany.

What possibly higher costs you think off?

Breakdown cover provides you with service of someone coming to you - trying to fix the car on the spot, and if impossible to tow it to the garage, and provide you with either accomodation or alternative transport.
Can't really think how this could cost more than 750.

How much do you think it costs to get a car repatriated, in the event it's undriveable and unfixeable locally?

It's a fcuk load more than €750. It's not far off that to get a wreck from Cork to Dublin.

You can join the ADAC Germany for 90 euros, cover what ever vehicle your driving Across europe for 12months, nit just holiday cover.

I took this out for my motorbike instead of giving the AA 350e for 2months European cover, Youits the German wing of the AA but anyone can join

I can't actually remember what I got but when I went to France I needed to use it - would have missed my boat without it. Make sure they will try to fix the problem on the spot and not just tow you...
