France to ban electronic cigarette 'smoking' in public places

I thought this may be interesting.

I'm still on my Kanger starter kit, and i have to say, apart from the odd dodgy flavour, i love it.. I can breathe a lot easier for one.

May 31 (Reuters) - France will ban electronic cigarette smoking in public places by imposing the same curbs enforced since 2007 to combat tobacco smoking, Health Minister Marisol Touraine said on Friday.
Amid mounting global concern over the public health implications of so-called e-cigarettes, Touraine said they faced the same fate as traditional ones: a ban on smoking in public spaces and sales to minors and a blackout on media advertising.
In a country where the pungent waft of Gaulloises and Gitanes once seemed an unassailable part of cafe culture, smokers have long been banished to outdoor terrace seats.

No, it's not. I do anyway, as i feel like a bit of a pecker sitting in the pub/restaurant/anywhere and taking out "The Kanger" and having a puff..

I wasn't expecting a ban, but then i haven't been following these much, other than a bit of info i need here and there, or for flavours.

I didn't think there was any reason that they should ban them.

In general, I can't figure out how such a stupid, ignorant & wrapped up in cotton wool race, can be considered a 'superpower' in Europe, let alone anywhere else.

They should ban farting in public places too - De Gaulle Airport smells like ass.
They should ecourage vaping.
