Norwegian Airlines Tickets

    Hi,

Just wondered if anyone has travelled with Norwegian Airlines before - I had to book a couple of tickets with them but I'm unsure about their tickets. In their confirmation email, they send out what they call a 'Travel Document' which has a bar code so I assume it can be used to cross the security check before boarding. But I'm unsure if this acts as a ticket itself at the boarding gate. I guess I'm unsure as I usually fly with Ryanair and they have Online Check-In with various details but I can't seem to find a similar mechanism for Norwegian and unsure if the so-called 'Travel Document' acts as the ticket itself.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there in case any other boardsters happened to use this airline.

Thanks in advance for any assistance. :)

The travel document is just your booking details (in airports where Norwegian have self service kiosks, you can scan them to start check in).

You'll still need to check in and obtain a boarding pass (not a ticket) when the time comes for your flight.

    Thanks, that clarifies things. :)
