    W200
And before somebody asks NO the spin is not actually IN the shop :)

It hasn't closed down. John Lynham runs that and the family own the pub and hotel as well. John is also a huge cycling fan and cyclist so is always very welcoming to anyone on bikes.

Thanks to " bazermac " and " laraghrider " for replies. I had tried unsuccesfully to make contact by phone before posting on Boards and even this morning there is no reply from that number.

Must give it a go. How does it compare the the Glendalough fayre/Hippy cafe re type and price of food, and having somewhere relatively safe to leave your bike?

I found it to have a friendlier service than the one up the road.
Not sure if you can get a free water refill, I'm sure they would do that.
If you sit outside you can keep an eye on your bike. The boss should stick in a bike rack out front.
I'm yet to try the one across the road from Anne's. The plastic furniture put me off.

On the subject of coffee shops I really like the one in Glencree reconcilliation centre as you come down from Sally gap towards Tallagh.
Lovely food and good service in a great setting.
