Star Trek 2 was the first one I saw. Weird that I'm reading this thread now (especially in a non-Trek board) as I just watched that movie again today for probably the first time about 3 years.

I think I got all the way to seeing all the Star Trek movies from 2-7 before I finally got round to seeing Star Trek 1. I think the reason was that it was never shown on television back in the day whereas the others got screenings occasionally.

Are you talking about the read-along series from 'Rainbow' back in the 80's?

    Star Trek 1... (no pix)

Star Trek 2 ... ( this has pix and looks a typical rainbow book that I remember)

I used to have all the Star Wars read-alongs back then and I played and read them so much that they imprinted on my mind to this date. The back page of the booklet was an ad for the other tapes they had. IIRC Star Trek 1-3 were available. I remember this because that page was literally the first time I'd ever heard or seen anything to do with Star Trek.

    Star Wars ANH

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Was 10 at the time and have seen every Star Trek movie in the cinema since then. Going to watch Into Darkness later this week and keep the run going. :)
