Rear shocks on the car are leaking, is it ok to replace the rear pair with aftermarket ones and keep the front pair as is?

Should be as long as they are of the same spec.

Aye, just replace the two rear ones.

I was intending to replace them with a pair of Koni or Bilstein shocks, so definitely not the same spec.

What I meant by same spec is that they are compatible with your car type.
