dual sim options - HTC one or xperia z

with a new job comes a new phone and number.
i would like to keep my existing number but don't fancy carrying 2 phones.
so i am looking for dual sim options for the new phone which will be a HTC one or xperia z.

have seen this but have no idea if its any use

Would it not be better to buy a dual Sim phone? Samsung have a few out. I have an older 1 for 2 year's and it works great

The HTC one actually has a dual sim version available in China and Russia AFAIK

I'm considering getting the Samsung Galaxy Grand. Not like the flagship status of the Z or the One but a five-incher and Dual-Sim and the specs that would reflect a good mid-ranger.
