Large wooden boards

I'm putting together a budget breakdown for an art installation, I basically need to put together a 5 ft tall 8 ft long simple box-like structure out of wooden boards , where (preferably in Dublin) would be a cheap place to buy some?

do they have to be boards? The immediate thought is to buy 8x4 sheets of ply or similar board - look in a builder's providers or DIY store and make a frame of timber to support them. 2x1 planed softwood would do it, or you could even just use metal angles on ply, depending on how strong it needs to be, whether you are using the outside or the inside to be visible, if it is going to be covered, etc. A bit more information would be helpful.
