LG has finally confirmed that it's making a white version of the Nexus 4—but it's also admitted that it's not interested in manufacturing another Google phone.

Quite an unusual announcement from a company that just produced probably their best phone in years and an automatic sales booster.

Something was lost in translation on the original article as an update has come out saying that LG aren't working with Google on Nexus 5 but won't rule out working with them again in the future.

That's a bit mental, burning bridges with Google?

I'm sure there are plenty of manufacturers who will want to step up to the plate... Samsung I'm sure will be in there!

Not to mention HTC may do a Nexus version of the One if rumours are to be believed!

    (Nexus 4 owner!)

They always change up the provider, it's gone from HTC (Nexus One) to Samsung (Nexus S and Galaxy) to LG (Nexus 4) to probably Motorola (X device) - sure it could be Asus with a Nexus phone / tablet like the Padphone. LG might not make the 5th edition but they ain't going anywhere for now (not with their profits).

The S4 Google Edition and rumoured (and practically Twitter confirmed) HTC One Google Edition are not Nexus devices, just vanilla Android - super idea but kind of pointless unless you can get them cheaper like the current Nexus edition.

Ah I know mate, looking at Twitter now having a field day with the misinterpreted comments ;) I personally love that it's never the same manufacturer - this way, they always have something to prove. Just look at the difference between the Galaxy and the Nexus 4 - no comparison IMO.

PS: Nexus 4 owner as well, have had the Nexus S, Galaxy and G1.
