    hello all,

I'm looking for someone to repair a marshall dfx 50 watt amp in meath. any one know where i can go that is reasonably priced, on a serious budget. the amp is buzzin when i switch it on and has no sound from the clean channel but has sound from the distortion channell. was like this when i bought it, ( i know nothing about amps and only discovered this when i got it home, second hand job) i'll know in future to check properly with cheap gear. i'll be plugging in an acoustic guitar with pick up, so i assume i'll need clean channel for best results.
    thanks all
    regards

Firstly you're not going to get a great sound from an acoustic plugged into an electric guitar amp.
Secondly I'd be ringing up the seller and getting my money back unless you bought the amp sold as seen.
