Traffic Light Camera. Enniskillen.

Not sure if many of you drive through, live in, or familiar with the area. But was up there the other day, and noticed quite an official looking traffic light camera sign on one of the approach roads coming from the Donegal/Sligo direction, only that it looks like it was done on and attached like them ellection posters. As for the cameras they look like a combination of them fish eye cameras (like the small globe sized ones you see jutting out from shop celling), and a couple of sensors about 7-8 foot above the road side.

Wondering if they are real/fake, monitoring or survey, or a protest/concern group trying to get drivers to be more careful. Nothing on the NI websites to say there are traffic light cams here, only 5-6 in belfast and one in Derry.

Thoughts anyone?

with the G8 in Enniskillen there are plenty of suspicious looking cameras about most likely some kind of anpr monitoring

Didn't think about that, although its more unusual looking than suspicious. Looked nothing like the sensors that are usually mounted on top of the lights, used to change to lights on quieter roads for approaching cars I believe, or the bright yellow gatso looking boxes used in the rest of the UK.

Probably just a regular traffic and surveillance camera. Because it's new it might not be on the trafficwatch site.

Not sure how new they are, have vague recollections of the sign being there for a while, or at least seeing it on previous visits.
