    Hey guys,

Just looking for recomendations for insurance , its just for a single trip for a family, we don't need annual cover.

I'm just looking for your experiences with companies, I don't just want to go with the cheapest wana make sure were covered, we've got our E111 cards too.

    Thank you :)

I have found the AA to be very good http://www.aaireland.ie/AA/Insurance/Travel-Insurance/Advice/Single-Trip-Travel-Insurance.aspx

    Also getcover.ie is also good

Thanks I've read a lot about getcover too. AA seem to be very reasonable!

I bought insurance yesterday with multitrip.com for €47 for the year. Never had to make a claim and I had the same policy last year seems good to me. Avoid anything by Axa or underwritten by them, I had an nightmare with them in 2011 when I had to make a claim!

    +1 for Multitrip

I pay about €35 for the premier level of cover worldwide, with an excess of €75.

That's with a VHI discount, without it's about a tenner more.
