Just a quick question to see if ya's all think this is possible. I'm 26 and lookin for a career change at the moment, I'm not over weight and formerly a smoker ( only off them two days). I've been called up for a fitness test with the air Corps and have to run 1.5 miles in 11mins 40 seconds or under, followed by twenty push ups and twenty sit ups both under a minute each. Only exercise I do is walk the dog 5 times a week 3k each time. And the killer is the test is in 7 days. Any training advice. I'm seriously worried now and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If it's in 7 days would you not go out now and get an idea. It works out a tad under 8 minute mile pace which could very well be doable. Get out and see.
