We are still looking for a lead singer. Thanks to all who contacted us and especially the ones who turned up for the auditions.

A few things that maybe we should have mentioned from the start. We try and play every weekend, do as many gigs as possible, some at very short notice and have a management company, so if you are looking for a band that plays on a non-committal part time basis, than this isn't for you. Also, we are all in our 40s so that age range may or may not appeal to some people.

I have been doing my own stuff for a year now but I still really enjoy covers.

Just wondering What exactly are ye looking for? Seems like ye have had a good bit of interest thus far. Is it a particular type of voice? A certain attitude? A way of performing? A certain age bracket? Maybe if ye said what youre looking for in a singer, you'd find one easier

Hi Alida62,

We already found two singers who were what we wanted, but for their own reasons they chose not to take the gig. I suppose some singers are auditioning for a few different bands and take the one they prefer. I think if you read all our posts since the first OP you will see that we've given as much info needed to allow people to judge whether they want to apply or not. When you audition musicians for an hour or less in a small rehearsal room its impossible to know what their attitude is or how they will perform in a live gig situation.

Are you interested because we will probably be running auditions again this week? If you are let me know and I'll send you our set.
