"Irish" Andre Ward - a tribute

27-05-2013 12:10am#1I think its time we paid tribute to the greatest Irish boxer past or present. "Irish" Andre Ward is arguably p4p number 1 in the world right now. Due to ignorance the man does not earn what he should.
With a much touted Froch - Ward II fight now on the cards and Dublin being touted as a potential neutral venue for this fight, I believe it is time we back the S.O.G. on boards.ie.
The son of undefeated Irish amateur boxer Frank Ward (15-0), it was his fathers exploits in the ring that gave Andre the encouragement to take up the Sport.
