    It seems that we're gone so politically correct that people can't mention another country or nationality without being Accused of being a racist!

    I was reading something where a female described a man as a "dark Chinese man" and was slated and called a racist.

    Maybe I'm wrong but I don't consider that racism, I wouldn't be offended by being described as a "pale Irish man"!!

    It seems to be worse in America where they always refer to black people as African Americans, in that case couldn't white people always be called European Americans.

    I suggest you search "Blatant racism", "I'm not racist but.." or "Am I racist?" on boards.ie

    It's been done to death here..

    I have come across a lot of eastern european racists, mainly Lithuanians and Polish. Hate Blacks, Jews, Irish etc. There are a lot of them in Ireland with this attitude, obviously not all, but a lot of those I've come to know over the years.

    In all seriousness, racism is a very real issue and is perpetrated by groups of unfortunately loud and ignorant people.

    Well, I clicked reply. Got distracted. Then looked back and saw that first.

    For some reason I thought there was a racism subforum in AH.
