hello, i have 2 questions regarding the whole process of document verifying. Does the person who does the verifying keep a copy of the document for themselves?

And what questions does the receiver of the documents ask the verifier when they ring him?

    Thanks

What documents are these? I assume you mean ID docs? Or do you mean references??

id documents, licence, bank statement, credit card pictures. For a betting type company.

The company will usually ask for a copy of your passport (to verify you are who you say you are) and driving licence. For a betting company additional ID will be required, I suppose. All perfectly legal, and they will keep copies.

Ask for a copy of the company's policy regarding data retention.

Did you ask the 'verifier'? That would be best bet (sorry!).
