Hi I took out a student loan last year and in Feb and march respectively I set up a direct debit on the account and also changed a welfare payment I receive to go into that account. I payed of the last monthly amount owed 2 weeks ago and got a letter saying your account is now closed. What does this mean with regards to…

I payed of the last monthly amount owed 2 weeks ago and got a letter saying your account is now closed. What does this mean with regards to the direct debit and payment stated above. I have another account in the bank will it be automatically moved there? Thank you
