Basically I am getting a good deal for sky if I get Broadband,Tv and phone together as a new customer.

I have just got rid of it in my own house. We are signing up the grandmothers house for broadband.

My question is would it be possible to use the card in my won house or even the box and car if needed be.

Are you thinkings of getting sky broadband/Tv in your grandmothers house, not using the box there and bringing the box to your house to use on your sky dish? People take their box and card to Spain you know ;-)

We lived wit her ma for a short while in a separate part of the house, we had multi room in her ma's name.

When we moved last June we took the box with us, plugged it into the new house and stuck the card in, multi room worked fine until last month when she went and cancelled it, then we just took out our own subscription

    It is possible,,yes..

Just move box and card, hook it up,,and away you go.

Only thing is....It's actually against Sky's terms and conditions to do so.

    Thanks lads.

I cancelled my own because the Half price deal was up I did get offered Entertainment for €26.50 which I probably would have taken.

Eircom in her place and my own Sky comes to €768.

Im going to see what I get offered by Sky. The deal on the site is €65 for 6 months and €75 for 6 months. Which is €840 and no complicated switching boxes.
